Due to the pandemic and our remote learning situation, we are not able to offer our typical PSO sponsored enrichment activities at school. Therefore, we have compiled a collection of FREE enrichment activities that are available to your students. Have some fun and learn something new!

Raddish – Have some fun in the kitchen! Check out all of the recipes and cooking instructional videos made just for kids.

Cooking with Kids – Educate and empower your kids to make healthier food choices through hands-on learning with cooking with kids!

MOVEMENT

PBS Kids – Exercise and have fun moving with popular PBS characters such as Arthur. 

Cosmic Kids Yoga – Your kids will love these popular yoga classes that will get your little yogi moving through song, story and pop culture. 

GARDENING

Plan Natural – Find videos, resources and activities to teach kids about gardening.

Kids Gardening – Dozens of activity ideas that center around gardening, including information on how to get a garden started.

LANGUAGES

Duolingo – Learn one (or more) of the dozen languages that are offered on Duolingo’s free lessons designed specifically for kids.

Daria – Learn American Sign Language to popular children’s songs through this YouTube channel filled with songs and corresponding ASL instruction.

Typing Club – Connect your student with lessons that will allow typing practice.

KidzType – Enjoy fun games that improve typing speed and accuracy.

BizKids – Check out the ins and outs of being a young entrepreneur. Your student will be given a chance to brainstorm new ideas, learn how to market a product, and how to sell to customers. Hear all the secrets on how to become a ‘Biz Kid’ directly from other Biz Kids!

A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING!

Khan Academy – Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Khan Academy tackles math, science, computing, history, art history, economics, and more, including K-12 and test preparation (SAT, Praxis, LSAT) content. There is a focus on skill mastery to help learners establish strong foundations, so there’s no limit to what students can learn next!

E-learning for Kids – E-learning for kids is a non-profit organization providing free, fun, curriculum based quality primary education to all children world wide. You can filter lessons and activities by grade level and topic. Topics include math, science, environmental skills, computer skills, health, language arts, and life skills.
